Description

Robert Half's client, a high-end residential/ commercial construction, and real estate management company, is seeking an Accounting Manager/Controller who is eager to grow and develop in this role.

Job Overview

The Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This role plays a critical part for the financial leadership team and will have the opportunity to progress as the company continues to grow. The Controller will assist in providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities include: Financial Reporting, Cost Controls, Financial Compliance, Vendor and Subcontractor Payments, Equipment and Inventory Management, Risk Management, and Budget Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA, CPA or CFMA preferred.

• 7-15+ yrs. of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 yrs. experience in a leadership role in the construction industry, preferably with a General Contractor

• MUST have some solid Construction industry experience.

• Sage Timberline a plus.
