The Corporate Strategy Associate role will support key strategic initiatives across the company in partnership with executive leadership and business owners. Work is largely project-based and split between operations transformation and corporate strategy efforts. Operational work will focus on providing recommendations to optimize launch, commercial sales & post-transaction processes for a more seamless customer experience while corporate strategy work may include supporting company fundraising activities, long-range strategic planning, and M&A due diligence. Both components of this role will require gathering input from a diverse range of subject-matter experts, owning analyses that derive insights from this data, and presenting findings to other Strategy team members / leadership in a manner that drives decision-making.

Key Outcomes

Information Synthesis & Storytelling:

  • Present qualitative / quantitative insights in a PowerPoint format that supports strategic decision making (e.g. win / loss analysis, summary of savings under different scenarios, etc.)

Cross-Functional Input Gathering:

  • Gather input from cross-functional teams in support of a transformation plan (e.g. current operating processes, customer pain points, core capabilities / gaps within an offer, transaction / usage / churn data, etc.)

Financial Modeling / Analysis:

  • Own a piece of Excel analysis within a transformation plan / M&A diligence process and be able to share implications under different assumptions (e.g. cost-to-serve, market share under different go-to-market pathways, customer enrollment benefit of an acquisition, etc.)

Project Planning:

  • Help update a project plan in support of project manager (e.g. identify key milestones and suggest how approach should change based on progress to-date)


  • Collect data / research from 3rd party sources and summarize key takeaways as an input to broader analyses (e.g. competitive landscape, market share information, financial benchmarks, etc.)

Key Qualifications

  • 1-2 prior internships, at least one in broader finance, consulting or strategy / business development field preferred. Some post-graduate work experience preferred but not required

  • Bachelor’s degree (or on-track to graduate prior to start)

  • Major or minor in business-related field preferred but not required. No background in agriculture necessary

  • Location – Boston-based preferred but not necessary; open to remote work based on experience level
