Role Description:

The Salesforce.org Alliances organization at Salesforce provides global leadership developing partnerships with our Global Strategic Consulting Partners focused on Salesorce.org . Salesforce is transforming the industry and works closely with our Global System Integrators.

We are looking for a Director, GSI Partnership who is skilled and passionate about Education and Nonprofit organizations who is excited about developing, managing and supporting top strategies with GSI Partners. This role will be responsible for developing and managing our alliances with top partnerships to include Alliances Strategy and Go-To-Market plan, regional sales team alignment, supporting channel organizations, and other key stakeholders. In additional, this role will drive the execution of revenue-driving programs and initiatives as well as capacity growth and customer success alignment. This Director will also be responsible for evangelizing Salesforce.org’s value proposition within the partner organization and facilitating the partner’s value proposition within Salesforce.org. Key to the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional partners, including sales, alliances, marketing, legal, and operations across Salesforce.org and Salesforce.com

Experience working with nonprofits or education institutions, or consulting/ISV partners in these verticals is also a strong plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior success in building, leading and executing strategic partnerships in a cross-functional environment

  • Proven ability to advance innovative ideas through sound business case and partnership development

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and execute in a changing environment

  • A great communicator — ability to present in compelling and fluent ways to both internal and external audiences/stakeholders

  • Good knowledge of Salesforce technology and applications products/solutions, platform and SaaS

  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity; able to focus and execute in a changing environment; ability to make things happen

  • Demonstrable proof of producing measurable results of influenced revenue or channel sales through global strategic system integrators

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a highly complex, matrixed global organization

  • Strong executive selling and business development skills; proven ability to understand different partner GTM and Organizational models

  • Understanding of service offering creation, marketing, lead generation and professional services organization key performance indicators

  • Willing to travel (20%-50%)
