Vontier Director of Digital Marketing in Boston, Massachusetts

SUDS Creative “SUDS” is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Digital Marketing/Growth to join our rapidly growing analytics and marketing agency. This position is remote with HQ based in Boise, ID. The Director of Growth is a key leader in an exciting high-growth company targeting consumer brands. For this role, we are seeking a passionate, dynamic marketer with a growth mindset. As an expert in all digital and traditional marketing channels, you offer deep client-facing experience, are able to speak convincingly about the latest trends in marketing technologies, methodologies, and processes, and have a proven track record delivering measurable results across the digital marketing landscape. The right candidate will be highly data-driven with responsibility for identifying and developing strategic plans to meet operational and client targets, as well as optimization activities within the organization.


  • Create and execute high-impact marketing strategy, goals, roadmap, processes, and execution - tailored to meet three specific sales channels.

  • Oversee all marketing online and offline marketing efforts including Customer Journeys, SEO, Paid Search, Marketing Automation, Analytics, Paid Media, Email, Conversion Rate Optimization, Social and Content Marketing, Marketing Automation, Email, Social Media, Website, Streaming, Radio, Billboards, Direct Mail, etc.

  • Lead, Manage, and hold the marketing team accountable for all marketing activities, including budgeting, day-to-day performance management, and optimization.

  • Define and own the Marketing Scorecard (KPIs), to measure the performance of campaigns and team; leverage insights to inform future strategy.

  • Manage and implement current marketing software tools including marketing automation, e-news, social, etc.

  • Work with the marketing team to develop creative solutions to business problems or objectives.

  • Be an expert of Digital Marketing services & solutions to pitch and win business

  • Be instrumental in helping develop nascent or build new capabilities, particularly around digital marketing, and marketing data intelligence

  • Build and maintain expert-level knowledge for the latest trends, players, capabilities, methodologies, and strategies across the digital marketing landscape.

  • Serve as a thought leader and evangelist by speaking at shows/webinars, joining client/pursuit meetings and activities to cultivate strategic relationships with executives.

  • Act as a key leader for the overall digital marketing leadership team, participating in the building and executing of our long-term roadmap, business case development and overall business growth.


  • A proven leader and manager who utilizes the full talents of your team and collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver results.

  • Extensive knowledge of marketing principles and strategies, plus the proven ability to plan and implement marketing campaigns.

  • Adept at managing the full marketing process from ideating, strategizing, and planning through execution, details, and analysis.

  • Skilled at targeting, engaging, and growing the customer base, and turning them into brand loyalists.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with extensive experience leveraging marketing data.

  • Innovative / out-of-the-box thinker, willing to experiment, celebrate, and learn from both wins and failures.

  • Proven ability to work and collaborate across departments to achieve marketing/sales/service synergy.

  • Demonstrated history in driving marketing's contribution to revenue.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong aesthetic and creative sense.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, where innovation and creativity is essential, and priorities shift frequently.

  • Excellent at problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Willingness to be a player/coach.

  • Highest attention to detail in proactively producing sales, opportunity, and performance decks

  • Proven track record working with and selling to the stakeholders, executives, and decision makers.

  • 7+ years of comprehensive, hands-on cross agency or client-facing experience delivering consumer marketing programs.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.

  • Able to demonstrate excellent client communication and presentation skills to quickly identify

  • opportunity and stitch together a seamless story.

  • Able to be positive, outgoing, and provide an innovative and industry leading point of view of digital marketing solutions and trends.

  • Proficient or functionally familiar with key MarTech solutions.
