scPharmaceuticals Director of Field Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

As a Director of Field Operations, you will be responsible for supporting field sales by overseeing the strategic development and execution of sales force IC plans, targeting, call plans, field alignments, sales reporting, metric identification and field team effectiveness. In addition, the Director will develop educational content in collaboration with Sales Training and Marketing to provide continuous education and tactical execution opportunities.

This role reports to the Vice President, Commercial.

• 8+ years Sales Operations experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry

• Detailed understanding of sales processes, sales data tracking, sales force automation, incentive compensation operations, promotion response concepts, and sales force alignments

• Experience in managing and developing direct reports

• Proficient in all aspects of analyzing healthcare sales data and field force activities.

• Proficient in CRMs such as Sales Force

• Excellent verbal, written and stakeholder management skills to effectively influence and manage expectations with sales management and cross-functional teams

• BA or BS degree required

• Lead and develop the Sales Operations team

• Assist in building a roadmap and execution of team expansion, future capabilities in advance of new therapeutic areas and business development opportunities

• Work closely with Sales Leaders to uncover opportunities for increased sales team efficiencies, educational gaps and coordinate implementation of new field tactics

• Continually evaluate team structure to optimize resources and provide consistent customer support

• Lead sales force sizing and structure projects

• As applicable, develop call plan and promotion response models for the sales team

• Manage and direct sales inquiry requests for sales IC data, sales reporting and CRM reporting

• Manage alignment process of territories/regions to maximize sales team effectiveness, compliance, measure for promotional activities, and IC plan equity

• Support the creation and management of IC operation activities (goal allocation, goal adjustments, validation of payouts, month reporting) and rewards and recognition programs

• Analyze performance trends & sales force effectiveness to identify opportunities and inefficiencies

• Responsible for all field training in regard to field sales tools, i.e. dashboards, ad hoc reports

• Co-responsible for development and alignment of field CRM platforms

• Collaborate across teams to develop key performance metrics and dashboards that help the sales organization focus on performance drivers

• Oversee and provide solutions and reporting for field sampling programs

• Manage field fleet program

• Develop communication materials to support field sales management on business reviews and sales force tools
