The role

Being a Director of Partnerships is a pivotal role at the heart of Empatica's business. You will oversee our Clinical Research business, build strategic relationships with pharmaceutical clients, and government institutions and identify opportunities to increase Empatica's market share in the clinical trial field.

You will help set strategic goals in your area and work closely with our Director of Clinical Operations, our Director of Marketing and the CEO to help drive sales growth and increase customer satisfaction and lifetime value.

In addition to building strategic relationships and helping grow company revenue, you will:

  • Work closely with internal executives to improve operations planning and overall sales efficiency.

  • Researching emerging trends and advising R&D departments to develop products able to satisfy customers’ needs.

  • Represent Empatica among its highest-tier research and business clients.

  • Build and lead an effective pharma sales team.

Requirements

As the ideal candidate for this position you have:

  • A genuine interest, passion, and motivation for Empatica's mission.

  • Strong academic background (Masters's degree).

  • Previous strong experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the healthcare or pharma market is preferred.

  • Previous knowledge of clinical operations is a plus (e.g. biomedical research administration or healthcare, bioengineering background, knowledge of bioethics, etc.).

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Superb analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
