KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Risk Management Conflicts Center of Excellence to join our Risk Management group which is part of KPMG's Legal, Risk, and Regulatory organization.


  • Develop and implement conflicts policies, protocols and tools; including collaborating with risk management and business across the Americas region to rationalize policies, protocols and tools

  • Facilitate and enhance the firm’s conflicts identification, evaluation and management process through variety of identification and tracking technology projects

  • Evaluate complex conflicts situations and collaborate with business, risk management, Office General Council (OGC) and others to determine appropriate mitigation steps

  • Collaborate with Global Quality and Risk Management in its development of global conflict policies, while working with U.S./Americas business and risk management leadership to allow for effective implementation of policies

  • Develop and deliver training content in a variety of mediums to various constituent groups across the member firms in Americas region

  • Oversee operational issues including monitoring volume, resource allocation and developing reporting/monitoring for trends within firm and within industry and across global to strategically address emerging risk issues related to conflicts


  • Minimumof 10 years professional experience, including risk management and/or conflicts experience; preferably from a professional services firm

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Ability to identify, evaluate and manage conflicts of interest (AICPA/IESBA/legal) exhibiting keen business judgment capable of making sound decisions, driving and influencing strategy

  • Highly collaborative, exceptional performer and effective team player with strong project management capabilities

  • Experience in developing and implementing policy across a highly matrixed organization; capable of dealing with ambiguity and applying creativity to develop innovative solutions

  • Strong relationship building and executive level communication skills; diplomatic with ability to work effectively across a global network
