JLM Strategic Talent Partners Electrical System Quality Engineer in Boston, Massachusetts
JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a bright Electrical Engineer to be part of a major construction project in the Boston, MA area. We are seeking an individual who will be testing OCS, signaling, communications, and fire protection systems. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
Design and test transit electrical systems and support other systems and engineering/architectural disciplines
Assists Project Managers in the coordination of project designs with other disciplines including attendance at project meetings
Data entry of technical information into company’s data bases
Actively participates in professional organizations and/or client groups
Assists in proposal writing and client presentations for future work
Preparation of correspondence, reports and other documents
Other Assigned tasks
Requirements
Degree in Engineering is required
Experience with testing/inspecting communication, OCS, fire protection systems (highly preferred)
Solid understanding of current 3D modeling software including Auto Cad and Revit
Prioritize, develop, and maintain project schedules
Project Management experience preferred
Ability to establish relationships and lead people
Self-motivated
Knowledge of project proposal preparation is a plus
