Brewster Ambulance Service Emergency Transportation Specialists-Must be an EMT Student in Boston, Massachusetts
CANIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN AN EMT TRAINING PROGRAM
Brewster/EasCare Ambulance Service is currently seeking full time and part-time Emergency Transportation Specialists (ETS) to join our team. As an ETS you will work with a licensed EMT to transport patients to hospitals, medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other destinations. Our focus is providing safe medical transportation while providing exceptional customer service.
Must be currently enrolled in an EMT training program
Required to have a valid driver’s license and provide an acceptable driving record
Required to have or obtain a CPR certification
Must have a satisfactory background check
Must complete a vehicle driver safety program
Must be able to safely don and doff personal protective equipment (PPE)
Must be caring and compassionate and have a desire to help others
Performs all duties in a safe, courteous, confidential and professional manner, always taking into account the well-being of the patient
Maintains a positive and professional image by being well groomed and properly attired at all times
Strong attention to detail and ability to restock, reorganize, clean, and decontaminate vehicles
Must be able to provide a current Physical (within the last year) OR a doctor’s note stating you have been seen in the last year and are in good physical health, fit for duty without restrictions.
Must be able to provide TB test results or Chest X-ray (within the last 12 months)
Must be able to provide a copy of your Immunization Records (vaccines given & dates)
Must be able to lift and maneuver 125 pounds without assistance and without difficulty
Must be able to lift 250 pounds on a stretcher with assistance and without difficulty,
Must be able to carry 250 pounds on a stair chair up and down two flights of stairs with assistance and without difficulty
Must be able to transfer 250 pounds via necessary means; i.e. sheet draw, stand and pivot, extremity lift, etc. with assistance and without difficulty
Must be able to maneuver without difficulties that would affect the immediate performance of job-related duties
Must be able to work in a variety of settings.
HR Orientation will be held via Zoom on 1/21/2021 at 10:00AM
Hands on training will be held in person in Brockton, MA on 1/27/2021 9:00AM-5:00PM
