Core Responsibilities:

Employee Relations

· Accountable for the rollout and consistent application of policies and procedures.

· Serve as mentor and sparring partner for leaders, focusing on driving performance and team efficiency. Guide people leaders through the performance improvement process when vital.

· Identify trends in Employee Relations where people leaders would benefit from additional training. Create and implement training where needed.

· Conduct investigations as needed

· Collaborate with global colleagues to implement standard processes to support the business.

HR Compliance

· Lead and support the development and submission of statutory government reports.

· Monitor federal and state employment regulations.

· Ability to perform research relating to compliance regulations and policies, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports while assessing risks.

· Identify areas for improvement and lead projects to implement change.

As an Employee Relations and Compliance Manager, you’ll work with employees at all levels of the organization to foster a world-class work environment. The Employee Relations and Compliance Manager guides leaders through challenging situations related to employee performance, policy implementation and team culture. In addition, this role is responsible for researching legal and regulatory obligations as it relates to local HR policies and processes to manage complex equal employment, pay transparency, affirmative action, and government reporting requirements and issues.

By being proactive and providing timely and detailed support, the Employee Relations and Compliance Manager ensures that our policies are applied consistently, that the work environment is welcoming and motivating for employees, and that we remain proactive and complaint as it relates to equal employment and affirmative action.

By delivering on the people and culture agenda alongside leaders, helping them navigate sophisticated challenges, and supporting legal and regulatory compliance, you play an integral role in helping achieve our mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.

Do you have what it takes?

· Minimum 5 years of HR experience, particularly in Employee Relations and Labor Relations and/or HR Compliance, ideally within an international, matrixed organization

· Demonstrated experience creating impact within a people and culture agenda

· Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on providing direction and clarity to a large organization

· Experience managing or supporting EEO and OFCCP or related compliance programs

· Knowledge of equal opportunity and anti-discrimination laws and regulations

· Proven track record to engage in critical conversations while maintaining professionalism

· Experience working with HR data, reporting, and analytics

· Demonstrated ability to uphold the highest standards of ethics, including maintaining confidentiality

· Experience facilitating group discussions with employees at all levels of the organization

· Experience helping teams foster a diverse and inclusion work environment

As an Employee Relations and Compliance Manager, you bring the LEGO brand to life by helping to elevate the performance of individuals and teams across the organization while also ensuring clarity and consistency across HR policies and regulatory compliance.
