We have an excellent opportunity for a Global Manufacturing Industry Subject Matter Expert in all US and Toronto, CAN based - Remote locations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will help drive manufacturing industry vertical by providing key insights and vision into areas of focus and sellable solutions. You will support the direct relationship with Salesforce global for manufacturing partnerships and support various business development opportunities across multiple geographic regions. You will contribute to Salesforce’s growth by helping develop and execute a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy with key partners while helping source and drive manufacturing accounts based on your own lead generation outreach and activity. The successful candidate(s) in this role will possess deep industry domain knowledge and have a clear understanding of front-line business challenges and needs for Salesforce’s platform for Salesforce’s customers in the manufacturing industry. You will work closely with our regional account teams and solution experts across the US, Canada, and UK developing end-to-end GTM materials/assets that include cloud accelerators and 3rd party solutions that drive the new pipeline origination.

Expectations of a Engagement Manager, Manufacturing Industry Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • Expert and key point of contact for manufacturing vertical internally and for partners and customers

  • Responsible for direct Account Team support and assisting with manufacturing pursuits in the US and the UK 20%

  • Contribute to functional project success and billable in roles of SE, SA, PM or SME (70%+) on Key or Emerging Accounts within Manufacturing or Automotive assisting in project deliverables and client workshop engagements.

  • Practice and solution building leveraging hands-on experience and understanding of industry trends and challenges, including development and support of internal training and education awareness (10%)

  • Partner with Salesforce AE’s, RVP's, AVP's and GTM teams in US, Canada, and UK

  • Drive new pipeline origination each month to achieve monthly goals

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications)

  • Bachelors Degree

  • 7 - 10+ years’ experience

  • Exceptional communication skills, written skills and business acumen

  • Strong client facing, solutioning, and sales skills are a must

  • Must have domain expertise and have worked directly with manufacturing industry businesses and customers

  • Strong background within Discrete Manufacturing and/or Auto Tier Suppliers preferred

  • In depth knowledge of the S&OP process as it relates to Demand Planning, Sales Operations, and Finance

  • Must be able to lead customer or prospect discovery sessions by bringing best practices and prior experiences that instill confidence and gather all of the necessary requirements

  • Must be able to work across a variety of activities or up to 2-4 projects simultaneously

  • Salesforce CRM cloud-based solutions experience is a must, Salesforce Preferred

  • Must be authorized to work for any US employer
