Primary Function
Event Management and Employer Experience: Oversee comprehensive logistics for all Feld Center hosted/co-hosted small and large-scale industry events. These could include on/off campus interviews, career panels, career fairs, large networking events, smaller industry panels, support of student club and/or diversity events, as well as all individually scheduled on/off-site treks to employers.
Event Logistics: The incumbent will liaise and partner withcareer centers on event planning and employer engagement opportunities and best practices. Event logistics involve (but are not limited to): close partnership with Questrom Events and Conferences to manage event platforms, book room reservations, devise, and execute event setups/layouts, order catering, send parking passes, assign staff volunteers, help ensure all events are properly marketed by working closely with Feld Center colleagues. There is heavy calendaring – ability to produce and maintain the Recruiting Workbook and Calendar of events for each semester. Physical work will include some lifting of boxes in preparation/setup of career fairs and office supply inventory.
Notes:
Candidates should be strong with Microsoft Word, and comfortable with Excel. Ability to multi-task also important. Need events management experience and be able to jump in and help out.
