Microsoft Corporation Executive Administrator in Boston, Massachusetts

The Software & Digital Platforms (SDP) National team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Executive Business Administrator to support 3 Account Team Unit (ATU) General Manager(s). You will be responsible for executive-level interfaces and contact with customers, partners, and across all levels within Microsoft. The ideal candidate must be able to maintain a calm, professional, and focused demeanor, accommodate different work styles with ease, demonstrate sound and consistent judgment in sometimes ambiguous situations and make timely decisions in relatively complex situations.


  • Proactively manage and prioritize complex calendars and make administrative decisions and requests for information on behalf of the General Managers based on understanding of business group priorities

  • Domestic and international travel logistics management and trip preparation

  • Reconcile and submit expense reports & act as the interim approver for all team expenses, ensuring coding accuracy

  • Create and proactively manage relevant security groups and distribution lists/aliases

  • Plan and lead logistics for complex internal team events including offsites, All Hands, morale events and other events as neededDaily team support including new hire set up, purchase order management, and processing invoices

  • Ensure compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.

  • Strong planning, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of highly sensitive material with tact and professionalismEffective written and verbal communications skills

  • Desire to take on big challenges and see the big picture as well as the details

  • Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests

  • Strong cross-team collaboration and organizational skills

  • Ability to consistently demonstrate a can-do attitude andcreate a positive customer experience

  • Ability to build effective cross-group working relationships and work collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to be flexible, have a strong eye for detail, meet deadlines and be comfortable working independently
