Amazon Executive Education Advisor, US EDU & SLG in Boston, Massachusetts

Description

Executive Education Advisors (EEAs) leverage their 10+ years as higher education executives to help AWS's higher education customers understand the business and mission value of modernization and digital transformation. Having served in the same CxO roles, EEAs serve as a trusted subject matter expert who can address both tactical and strategic matters that higher education CxOs must consider when planning their move to the cloud and when embracing advanced technologies enable by the cloud, such as generative AI. EEAs design and deliver executive outreach to higher education executives, and work with internal teams at AWS to develop customer engagement strategies and to address blockers that specific higher education customers are facing as they seek to modernize and transform. EEAs serve as industry thought leaders and write for and present to an international audience of higher education executives.

Key job responsibilities

Design and deliver executive outreach programs for higher education leaders.

Author blog posts and white papers on topics of critical interest to higher education leaders.

Work with AWS sales teams to develop customer engagement and blocker-response strategies.

Keep abreast of trends in higher education and build awareness among internal teams of the implications of those trends.

Serve as a thought leader for both external audiences of customers and internal AWS audiences.

A day in the life

A typical day in the life of an EEA might involve meeting with one or more higher education customers, either through an executive engagement (e.g, EBC, Executive Visioning) or an engagement with a key CxO. When not meeting with customers, EEAs develop engagement strategies for such meeting, author blog posts and white papers, and work with account teams and sales leaders on broader customer engagement strategies.
