Bain & Company Inc Experienced Analyst, Global Staffing Operations in Boston, Massachusetts

Independently assume responsibility for the analysis and maintenance of global staffing data from multiple data sources acting as the primary interface with internal customers. This includes partnering with the software product team and senior business leadership to define on-going enhancements and improvements.

• Ownership of end to end analysis requests, including advising on data nuances, providing suggestions on methodology, and preserving the security and integrity of the data

• Execute zero-defect analysis of staffing data and develop presentations to communicate findings on staffing metrics, trends and variances

• Collaborate with senior staffing management, suggesting ways to approach value-added analyses

• End to end ownership of regular staffing reports for senior business leadership including analysis of various discrepancies and troubleshooting on data reconciliation issues

• In collaboration with the staffing directors, develop and maintain the staffing policy and guidelines documentation

• Develop and maintain a high level of familiarity for the current and new staffing systems, with the ability to support and answer internal customer questions and resolve issues as may be required

• Collaborate with staffing software product owner, product team and 3rd party software vendors as needed on ongoing system enhancements and bug fixes

• Assist in system upgrades, including developing and executing test plans, identifying system dependencies and highlighting risks

• Build collaborative relationships with internal customers to ensure continuous feedback on staffing systems and identifying opportunities for enhancements

• Identify information sources and demonstrate effective and creative approaches to data gathering in order to complete value-added analyses

• Attend Associate Consultant Training (intensive business skills training)

• Perform other duties and projects as assigned or as responsibilities dictate

• Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years of experience in a business environment preferred

• Strong analytic and critical thinking capabilities

o Demonstrated ability to use complex and interrelated data to generate insights o Ability to synthesize analysis, recommend actions and prioritize next steps

• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and take initiative on multi-faceted projects/responsibilities

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors in a fast paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with the highest levels of professionalism

• Advanced knowledge of Excel and proficient in PowerPoint

• Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills

o Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines o Strong written and oral communication skills o Solid organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail o Strong process skills of follow up and follow through

• Superior judgment when dealing with highly confidential information

• High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

• Ability to travel and flex schedule to support customers in various locations and time zones as needed
