Paid Fair Housing Internship at Suffolk Law! Are you looking for an opportunity to earn $25/hour and work for social justice? Join our team of civil rights lawyers and students fighting housing discrimination. The Accelerator to Practice (A2P) Clinic and Housing Discrimination Testing Program (HDTP) are accepting applications for a temporary Intake Specialist for the spring semester. The Intake Specialist is the first point of contact for victims of housing discrimination seeking legal representation. They will be responsible for responding to phone calls to HDTP and A2P, completing intakes to gather relevant information about the client’s situation to be evaluated by our attorney s, maintaining a call log, and providing referrals to individuals whom the clinic is unable to assist.

The Intake Specialist position is 15 hours/week and will work out of the Accelerator Suite at the Law School. Current Suffolk law students are preferred. Looking for a candidate with excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, experience working with diverse communities, strong active listening skills and empathy. Must also have the ability to use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams. Please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your professional skills and interest in fair housing work.
