The Family Housing Operations Coordinator shall be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.

  • In collaboration with engineering, overseeing construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.

  • In collaboration with engineering, overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.

  • Directing facility maintenance or repair activities.

  • Purchasing materials, equipment, or other resources.

  • Planning, directing, or coordinating operations and functionalities of facilities and buildings. May include surrounding grounds or multiple facilities of an organization's campus.

  • Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the house operate smoothly and efficiently.

  • Must be available as a community and hospital resource for families regarding accommodation and other non-clinical related needs

  • Overseeing and supervising the housekeeping staff in the Family Houses in conjunction with the Hospital team and external contractors.

  • In collaboration with Family Services Director, managing the housing budget, billing processes, and ongoing maintenance and replacement of furniture and equipment inventory

  • Maintaining informational databases, written operational policies and procedures, and creating reports and analyses of program utilization.

  • Managing large-scale data management/systems projects.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Property/Hotel Management, Hotel Administration or related field

  • 3 years of work related experience

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, systems, and written communications skills.

  • Comfort level working with families experiencing emotional and financial stress.

  • Work requires strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience with Property Management Software.

  • A strong focus on customer service. Attention to detail.

  • Fluency in Spanish (oral and written) strongly preferred.
