Chemical Analysis division, featuring innovative analytics, from Lab to Line to Field. Our business serves a wide breath of industrial markets including pharmaceutical, food and beverage, environmental, process minerals, mining, coal, cement and metals, as well as academic, government, safety, and security. This position will support the Materials and Minerals Team.

The Materials and Minerals team provides high quality analytical, product inspection and compliancy solutions along with bulk material handling equipment for industrial customers in cement, metals, minerals, coal, food, electronics, semiconductors and research scientists in materials science.

  • Production Inspection

  • Bulk Material Handling

  • Gauging Web and Metals

  • Process Analytics

This remote position would need to be 2 hr radius of Boston, MA.

How will you make an impact?

You will provide onsite customer support and service for Food Inspection/Safety Equipment for Food Processing Production Lines. This equipment measures weight and looks for impurities in the food packaging industry. This requires 75%-100% of travel (weekend travel is rare) and must also be available to work a flexible work schedule to support a 24/7 service operation.

What will you do?

Role primarily in the food packaging sector. This Equipment provides quality assurance for our customers product. Ensuring that Materials & Minerals North America customers' needs, expectations are met and exceeded within the parameters of the job.

  • Primary responsibility is the overall customer support of an assigned customer list.

  • Ensuring customer happiness by meeting and exceeding expectations

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance, emergency break/fix repair services

How will you get here?


  • Minimum required education: Associates degree, equivalent military or 2+ yrs. of technical training


  • 2+ years' experience in an instrumentation service environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong electro /mechanical, and computer skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics

  • Valid driver's license
