Position Description

  • Under the direction of the Chief Finance and Administrative Officer, the Operations Manager will provide administrative and operational support to the Finance and Operations teams. Acts as the primary point of contact from Finance with all departments and programs with a focus on customer service. Assist in developing/implementing protocols, procedures and new initiatives as needed to achieve maximum efficiency of the Finance Department.

Essential Functions

  • Providing workflow management to optimize daily activities.

  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and time management skills.

  • High level of diplomacy, organizational awareness, and discretion.

  • Detail-oriented.

  • Providing administrative support including scheduling team meetings, maintaining calendars, distributing the mail, supporting P-Card processes, coordinating required signatures and other administrative duties as needed.

  • Write and edit documents from letters, reports and instructional videos.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

  • Maintain and orderly work environment and perform tasks as prescribed.

  • Perform operational special projects and other duties as assigned.

  • Facilitating communications, meetings, and minutes for Committees of the Board

Education and Experience

  • Three years’ experience in administrative and operations management.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and communication skills required.

  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications.

  • Technology and equipment management including on boarding and off boarding support.

Physical Requirements

Standard Office setting, hybrid work schedule possible. May spend extended period on the telephone, at the computer terminal or operating other office machines, requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
