Iron Mountain Financial Analyst, ALM - Remote in Boston, Massachusetts

ALM Financial Analyst - Remote

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the high growth Asset Lifecycle Management (“ALM”) business. The ALM business, including Secure IT Asset Disposition, has discreet opportunities for significant growth in the coming years, and is a key growth driver for Iron Mountain. The Financial Analyst is responsible for reporting, long range financial modeling and business analysis supporting both short and long-term business planning and modeling utilizing both financial and non-financial metrics. The Financial Analyst will serve as a key contributor to the ALM leadership team, will be the primary connection between ALM leadership and Finance, and will be responsible for understanding and coordinating the monthly financial activities globally.

Key Responsibilities include:

●Assist in monthly financial close process for ALM product, engaging with regional resources in order to drive clear monthly understanding of results

●Construct performance management routines for financial metrics for the newly formed ALM business and prepare related monthly financial package for review with Global ALM leadership including the driving, consistency and measurement key KPIs

●Partner with ALM leaders to drive organic growth agenda of 2.5x revenue in 2022

●Assist in quarterly forecast process, summarizing results for ALM and aggregating risks and opportunities across the globe

●Engage with enterprise finance as part of the annual Multi Year Plan process to drive visibility to long term strategy and plan for ALM

●Partner with technical accounting to ensure monthly cost of sales allocation process is being done correctly for each region

●Assist in any due diligence work of potential acquisition targets and integration activities

●Ongoing business financial support to Global ALM to understand and drive business improvements both commercially and operationally

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

●Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA a plus

●1-2 years of progressive financial experience focused on providing planning and business analysis support within a large sophisticated corporation

●Ability to build partnerships, influence decisions and coordinate across multiple business units through strong communication skills

●Strong analytical skills needed to synthesize large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers, and distill them into insightful analysis for senior management

●Demonstrated ability to conduct a broad range of analyses, independently seeking proper techniques and making correct interpretations and appropriate recommendations based on the results obtained

●Advanced modeling skills and strong organizational and financial skills to analyze quickly and accurately, on a timely basis, and with credibility

●Passion for driving and delivering results acting as a financial agitator to provide valuable performance analysis and reporting on a timely basis to help facilitate decision making

●Quick learner and problem solver who can deliver innovative ideas and approaches when faced with new issues or challenges

●Strict attention to detail and intensity around consistently delivering high quality outputs in a multi-tasking environment, comfortable working with ambiguity

●Flexible, especially the ability to change work focus to meet company goals
