Robert Half Financial Reporting Analyst Advanced (>6 years) in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst Advanced in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves providing support in the preparation of financial reports in line with US GAAP SEC and other financial reporting requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to handle complex areas of accounting, maintain accurate records, and generate reports for analysis, among other duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the production of quarterly and annual financial reports in compliance with US GAAP SEC and other financial reporting mandates.

• Preparing necessary supporting schedules and documents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Evaluating and validating financial reporting information received from various functional areas and service providers.

• Drafting financial statement footnotes and providing requisite clarification where necessary.

• Assisting in the implementation and adherence to new and proposed accounting and reporting standards.

• Performing account reconciliations on complex areas of accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Applying principles of finance to analyze and prepare financial operations and statements.

• Maintaining accurate records in the database and generating reports for analysis.

• Collaborating with service providers to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Using database and other digital tools to facilitate tasks such as photocopying and scanning documents. Requirements • Must have an advanced level ( >6 years) of experience as a Financial Reporting Analyst.

• Proficient in reporting, compliance, and database management.

• Strong background in finance, implementation, and account reconciliation.

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, data analysis, and financial analysis.

• Demonstrated knowledge of principles and US GAAP.

• Experience in financial statement audits.

• Ability to work effectively with service providers.

• Familiarity with the Securities And Exchange Commission.

• Proven abilities in financial operations and supporting schedules.

• Experience with various accounting functions.

• Capable of handling tasks such as photocopying and scanning documents.
