State of Massachusetts Fiscal & Waiver Liaison in Boston, Massachusetts

The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) Metro Region is seeking a Fiscal & Waiver Liaison Program Coordinator II with strong attributes in the Human Service field to work in the Greater Boston Area Office. The Area Office Program Coordinator will work under the direction of the Area Director or designee and be responsible for data management and project/assignment completion related to the CMS waivers, ISP/LOC/POC compliance, and other waiver-related matters. The position is a member of the Area Office Management Team and is involved in management-level planning and activity. The position will be responsible to provide support and assistance to the Area Director and other area office staff related to the management and completion of assignments, projects, data collection and other related activities, as well as support, as needed, with contracting activity and fiscal monitoring. _Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):_ * Participate in procurement processes, resource allocation and tracking, and contract management and oversight activities. * Provide technical assistance related to Participant Allocation Management (P.A.M.), Meditech enrollments, and the management of the Participant Directed Program portal and other self ­directed program activities. * May provide supervision to one or more staff of a lower grade. _ Please Note:_ * Driving, both within and outside of the Greater Boston catchment area, will be a necessary part of this position. * Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:45AM to 5:00PM, Days Off: Saturday and Sunday * Interested applicants should be flexible in schedule as there may be occasional nights and weekend meetings with individuals, guardians, families and other agencies. _Preferred Qualifications:_ * Ability to listen attentively and respectfully to ascertain the desires and needs of individuals. * Proficiency to facilitate groups with diverse representation. * Capacity to function effectively as member of a team. _About the Agency:_ The Department of Developmental Services is dedicated to creating, in partnership with others, innovative and genuine opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate fully and meaningfully in, and contribute to, their communities as valued members. _Benefits and Compensation:_ As an employee of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are offered a great career opportunity influencing a wide-spectrum of services to the diverse populations we serve - but it's more than a paycheck.
