Principle Duties and Essential Functions:

  1. Cash Handling per policy, must have basic math skills (recommend testing all candidates for cafe to ensure they have basic math skills)

  2. Greets customers and handles transactions

  3. Focus on customer service: ROSE

  4. Ability to fill in in other areas: Grill cook, restocking, serving customers

  5. Inspects and addresses dining room and servery for spills and debris during service

  6. Cleans, washes and santizes equipment and work area

  7. Completes HACCP Logs (Refrigeration/Dishmachine Logs)

  8. Maintains a work station that is clutter free, no personal belongings in work area

  9. Ability to follow policies and procedures- department and hospital


  1. Cashiering experience strongly preferred

  2. Critical customer service skills and strong work ethic, trustworthy, honest integrity
