Oracle Full Stack Sr/Lead Developer - Oracle Guided Learning (Remote/Telecommute) in Boston, Massachusetts

Oracle Guided Learning is a state of the art Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) (https://education.oracle.com/oracle-cloud-guided-learning) that is helping thousands of companies succeed and grow, empowering their employees to learn how to use Oracle cloud software in the flow of their own work. It is an information and learning interface embedded in a host Oracle application.

On our development team, you will work with global colleagues to create modern, robust, scalable web applications. This is a new team in the United States to support growth as Oracle Guided Learning continues to thrive across Oracle’s customer base. In addition to technical and programming talent, our developers need to be customer focused, exhibit excellent communication skills, work well in a global team environment, be self-motivated and be willing to take on varied tasks to ensure the success of our projects. Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential.

Our tech stack:

Knowing how to solve complex technical problems is more important than having worked with the same tools. We run a Python backend and Angular front-end in a CI/CD environment with a collaborative DevOps team.

What you’ll do as the Full-Stack Developer – Oracle Guided Learning:

  • Provide technical expertise to the team and contribute to overall project architecture.

  • Take personal responsibility for delivery of software components.

  • Design, prototype, build, unit test, bug-fix, and evaluate key components of the project.

  • Work collaboratively with your manager and stakeholders to understand business requirements and write technical specifications.

  • Collaborate globally with teams in Israel, India, Latin and South America

  • Contribute to a collaborative-yet-autonomous culture of developers able to take ideas and run with them without losing sight of bigger picture goals.

What we like to see in the Senior Development Manager – Oracle Guided Learning:

  • Strong experience building enterprise, scalable SaaS applications.

  • Full-stack development experience with an eye for both front- and back-end design and solutions.

  • Team player that strives to develop, learn new technologies and gain experience.

  • Highly motivated, result oriented person with a strong commitment to deliver.

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

  • B.Sc./ M.Sc. graduate in Computer Science or equivalent.
