Oracle Functional Testing Consultant I in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

Junior consulting position for those who are continuing to develop their expertise. Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and write manual and automated front-end test scripts for assigned service line workflows to validate design and configuration against client requirements

  • Analyze, resolve, and report on testing status, gaps, and issues to client and project leadership during various testing cycles to facilitate timely decision-making, project milestone attainment, and client goal achievement

  • Partner with client to select and apply the appropriate testing methods to complete system and integrated testing based on project scope and execute testing plan.

  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external project stakeholders to achieve business objectives related to testing activities, defect investigations, issues, and concerns related to assigned client(s) and/or service line(s).

  • Perform workflow testing in client environments in accordance with client requirements.

  • Maintain testing documentation and artifacts for each test as proof of validation.

  • Document, track, and troubleshoot workflow design and configuration issues identified during testing cycles, escalating when necessary

  • Identify process improvement opportunities, propose possible solutions, and collaborate with others to develop new or enhanced processes and best practices to address.

People management responsibilities (for associates with one or more direct reports):

  • Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution

  • Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks.

  • Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.

  • Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $31.54 to $55.24 per hour; from $65,600 to $114,900 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $28.22 to $52.36 per hour; from $58,700 to $108,900 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
