Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney in Boston for a wonderful client with excellent benefits, pay and culture. The preferred candidate should have 1-4 years of direct experience, preferably in medical malpractice defense, employment defense, personal injury defense, premises liability defense, insurance defense and/or insurance coverage. 1900 hour billable requirement and hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, arguing their case effectively and professionally.

• Handle pre-litigation coverage disputes, advising clients on the best practices to avoid bad faith exposure.

• Produce high-quality written work, demonstrating strong research, analytic, and presentation skills.

• Use knowledge and theory gained from law school to solve legal problems.

• Manage legal documentation and correspondence in strict confidence.

• Multitask and handle pressure in an often-demanding environment.

• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of legal trends and changes, applying them to current cases when necessary.

• Manage and direct legal personnel within the practice to ensure the organization's goals are met.

• Work independently within a collaborative setting with other legal professionals within the practice.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• JD from an accredited law school and outstanding academic credentials.

• Must have at least 1-4 years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance.

• Active admission to the MA bar or the ability to obtain admission quickly.

• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with knowledge in employment counseling and/or insurance coverage.

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to organizational excellence.

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively and independently in a team environment.
