The Pardee School of Global Studies seeks to hire a Graduate Admissions and Recruitment Associate. Reporting to the Associate Director of Graduate Admissions, this role will support Pardee's graduate recruitment and admissions efforts to meet our enrollment targets in terms of both quality and quantity for Pardee's 6 graduate programs. The Graduate Admissions and Recruitment Associate will be responsible for managing and building out communications for various points of the admissions pipeline, representing Pardee at fairs, info sessions, and open houses, and meeting with prospective candidates and candidates to provide personalized admissions support and counseling. This role will also review and read applications. Our admissions team aims to provide a seamless and positive application experience, which also requires liaising with Pardee faculty as well as with personnel from other BU units.
Required Skills
A cover letter is required for consideration.
Bachelor's with 3+ years of experience
2-3 years of experience in admissions, higher education, or similar field
People skills: Customer service orientation, experience working with a diverse community
Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication abilities (e.g., presentation and/or speaking to a large audience) Strong time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
