Managing Consultants help our healthcare clients transform their business processes, improve efficiency and operations, increase transparency and performance management, and comply with Federal laws and regulations. As a Managing Consultant, you will have responsibility for client management, solution implementation and generation of project results. You will own multiple complex project workstreams and interact with healthcare clients daily to ensure engagement success. This includes leading day-to-day operational meetings with client sponsors and consulting leaders. Managing Consultants are expected to communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to client and internal executives. You will manage consultants and ensure quality deliverables. As a Managing Consultant, you will lead a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and healthcare experience, helping our healthcare clients solve complex clinical and business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include: • Proactively assist in delivery and management of engagement activities led by Guidehouse Engagement Leadership • Work independently, with minimal supervision, and partner with others to develop trusting relationships across engagement team • Lead multiple complex work streams within a client engagement, overseeing individual contributions as well as work of additional engagement staff • Guide client and internal subject matter expert conversations towards effective outcomes • Direct a team to identify and mitigate projects risks around scope, schedule, and quality, effectively escalating to engagement leadership • Develop strategies to solve complex clinical, technical, and operational strategies for our healthcare clients • Actively support business development activities to help identify, research, and pursue opportunities for new / existing clients • Contribute to development of team’s industry acumen and capabilities through contribution to internal firm initiatives • Manage staff, both within engagement as well as internal development Additional responsibilities include: • Performing technical and process analyses; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management • Providing detailed fact finding, research, and analysis to identify and recommend enhancements to continuously improve client operations • Assessing health industry trends to inform clients on leading practices and drive continued transformation efforts • Developing transformation strategies to inform client’s long-range strategic planning efforts • Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations



• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree; Master's Degree strongly preferred

• 5+ years of management consulting experience in health industry

• 5+ years of healthcare project management experience with a deep understanding of project management, workflow and infrastructure • Demonstrated passion for improving healthcare • Organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage a team and prioritize resources and time effectively • Create and maintain project timelines, address change and contribute to project reporting • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of business, including experience writing reports and client/public-facing documents as well as communicating complex concepts effectively through Microsoft PowerPoint • Comfort with quantitative analysis in Microsoft Excel and ability to translate analysis findings • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and develop successful professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders

• Ability to create clear and compelling presentations for clients on complex topics Preferred: • Direct experience with healthcare, strategic planning, PowerBI builds • Federal and commercial consulting experience
