We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering top-tier HVAC solutions. salary: $79,000 - $83,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC systems including air handling units, steam absorption chiller, cooling towers, and all ancillary equipment such as pumps, valves, fans, ducting and variable air distribution units, motors/drives, compressors, thermostats, filters, and condensers; refrigeration equipment; and plumbing systems. (25%)

• Troubleshoot and repair all systems and equipment noted above. Overhaul equipment when appropriate including breaking down equipment and rebuilding equipment, replacing major components, etc. (25%)

• Advise Facility Engineer on technical aspects of capital projects such as installation/removal, overhaul, and modification of major HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing equipment. Lead and assist contractors in performing the work, if applicable. Research and recommend new equipment and procedures. (15%)
