Learn more at www.verint.com. Overview of Job Function: Verint’s DevOps Engineer - Intern will work on code-driven projects and will contribute to improving the day-to-day cloud operations. You will be involved in developing, implementing, and supporting solutions and pipelines to be adopted by Verint’s applications teams. You will get to learn some of the latest technologies and enjoy creative independence to bring your ideas to life in an open and collaborative team environment. Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities: + Working with an agile team to set up and configure cloud-based environments. + Design and develop secure cloud system architectures in accordance with established standards. + Actively participate in design meetings with the development team. + Migration of virtual machines from on-prem to AWS/ Azure. + Creating and deploying serverless functions into our cloud platforms. + Designing and building containerized workflows for performing or enhancing production activities. + Learn Ansible workflows and modules for deploying and updating infrastructure. + Possibly combining some of the above with light database work for building out resource tracking capabilities. + Ensures security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions. + Collaborate with development teams to help architect, configure, monitor, and support their services. Minimum Requirements: + Work towards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field. + 0 - 1 year experience in cloud design and programming web-based UIs through all phases of the software development life cycle including testing, implementation and auditing + Ability to manage individual priorities with strong time management skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. + Basic experience with any combination of the following: + Infrastructure/ networking knowledge + Cloud hosting services: AWS, Azure, and GCP + Web applications and programming languages such as HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Python, and PowerShell + REST API/microservice applications: Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, JUnit + GIT, JIRA, Confluence + Microsoft Office products #LI-BM1 MIN: 25/HR MAX: 30/HR At Verint, we believe customer engagement is the core of every global brand.
