Position Purpose: Define and direct the marketing and community outreach functions in accordance with the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the company. Establish a brand and presence in the community. Support and oversight of health plan activities.

• Lead, develop, and implement health plan or product strategic and tactical marketing plans, community affairs, and related initiatives to grow membership

• Oversee the health plan's development, coordination and production of marketing activities

• Analyze reports and records on department activities for effective decision making. Produce accurate and timely reports needed for contractual or business needs

• Identify department and project needs and develop process and systems to meet needs

• Build and maintain internal and external business relationships within the community

Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related area. 5+ years of experience in community development, marketing or branding, preferably in a government sponsored healthcare environment.
