Overview Of Position

The role functions as a central resource involved with technical design, manufacturing, quality, testing, marketing, deployment, and distribution as the product(s) move through their lifecycle and direct those involved in the Product Development Life Cycle of a specific product or group of products. The Manager, Product Management provides leadership, management, coaching and/or mentoring to others and is regularly accountable for the performance of and results through others for PBM Solutions.

What Will Be My Duties And Responsibilities In This Job?

  • Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends

  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the team

  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals

  • Guides Product Owners in company policies and departmental best practices and guidelines.

  • Develop and administer schedules, performance requirements, to assess and guide team’s performance

  • Manages coordination of the Product Team, with responsibility for results, methods, and staffing.

  • Frequently interacts with Director of Product, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineering, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company

  • Collaborates with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) in the efficient allocation of resources to achieve Agile Release Train (ART) objectives as laid out by the leadership

  • Resolves issues and contributes to unit/area development.

What Are The Requirements Needed For This Position?

  • 6+ years’ experience in product development or product management within PBM or Healthcare with at least 1 year of leadership responsibility

  • Extensive knowledge of Healthcare and Pharmacy Benefit Solutions

  • BS or Masters in Computer Science or Business or related experience

What Other Skills/Experience Would Be Helpful To Have?

  • Product Management, Agile development methodologies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to deliver results while leading through change and managing ambiguity

  • Ability to manage through formal channels as well as influence across a matrix organization is essential

  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills, comfortability in speaking to peers, direct reports, and across business units including the C-suite

  • Process methodology experience

  • 1-2 years of Accounting experience

  • Familiarity with NCPDP Standards

How Much Should I Expect To Travel?

  • Less than 20%
