Job Description

The Manager, Sales Operations at CodaMetrix will play a crucial role in driving our Sales team's success and achieving our growth objectives. They will work collaboratively with the Sales team and CMX leadership to own the integrity and availability of Sales data and will ensure that the team’s day-to-day activities are in alignment with organizational priorities and data insights.  They will be responsible for leading the development, documentation, and management of our Sales processes, creating Sales reports, coordinating RFP/RFI responses, and managing the effective use and optimization of sales systems (CRM, Account and Lead information systems, RFP response system/ product knowledge database, forecasting and revenue management systems, etc).  

Core Responsibilities 

  • Develop, refine and maintain end-to-end sales processes that align with our business goals and target market, ensuring consistency and efficiency.  Work cross-functionally with leaders in Marketing, Delivery, Product, Finance to ensure processes are appropriate for all stakeholders internally and externally.

  • Administer and optimize the Salesforce CRM system, including user management, data integrity, and integrations/ custom build to support the Sales and Delivery teams’ needs.  Previous experience with Salesforce and Hubspot is preferred

  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify sales trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and work with the Sales team and Executive leadership to develop strategies based on findings

  • Support the onboarding and ongoing training plans for sales personnel to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for success.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize bookings and customer expansion and drive revenue growth.

  • Foster strong communication and collaboration between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving company objectives.

  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress toward sales targets.

  • Participate in the coordination and response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from potential clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

  • Collaborate with Senior leadership to align Sales Operations with overall company objectives.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales operations team.

  • Document and maintain Sales processes, workflows, and procedures to ensure consistency and scalability as the company grows.

  • Generate regular sales reports and analyze key performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for sales improvement. Create easily accessible and digestible sales reports in Salesforce.

  • Maintain and enhance a comprehensive Sales Playbook in the Company Intranet that provides guidance to the Sales team on best practices, objection handling, and Sales strategies.

    Requirements  

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a healthcare- related field 

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales operations, preferably within the healthcare technology industry

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Zoominfo, Hubspot, Atlassian/ Confluence and MS Excel

  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Detail-oriented and organized with a focus on process improvement

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

    Beneficial Experience

  • Management of one or more direct reports in analyst-type role or experience managing consultants/ contractors/ interns on short-term assignments

  • Experience building out knowledge database systems such as Responsive/ RFPio

  • Experience working with or selling to large academic medical centers and health system accounts

  • Familiarity with revenue cycle or clinical healthcare workflows

    Location

    Preference for Boston, MA (CodaMetrix headquarters) and will consider remote-based for exceptional candidates.
