Role & Responsibilities:

  • Play a strategic role in developing the cross-platform and cross-media measurement approaches and agendas

  • Build marketing execution and measurement roadmaps that effectively orchestrate data across ad-servers and DSPs (e.g. Google CM360, Media Math, DV360), Martech (e.g., DMPs, CDP, CRM), web analytics tools (e.g. GA360, Adobe Analytics) and tracking/identity solutions (e.g., tagging, Liveramp)

  • Empower a team to conduct in-depth effectiveness studies/analyses for to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies across digital and non-digital platforms. Build measurement capabilities with sophisticated models, automation and scale

  • Build cross-functional relationships to understand data needs, build key metrics and standardize their usage across the organization

  • Effectively communicate the complicated nature of the digital ecosystem, industry tracking challenges, and latest solutions to stakeholders at all levels


  • 8-10 years experience in digital marketing/performance marketing analytics and/or MarTech capabilities

  • Advanced degree in quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence/Analytics, Marketing)

  • Proven experience paid, earned, and owned digital channel experience (display, social, search, email, web)

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, specifically creative teams and media/communications strategy teams. Analytical experience to conduct analysis on creative performance, identify optimization opportunities and use data to inform marketing/creative decisions

  • Experience as a data scientist building statistical models (econometrics, multi-touch attribution, etc.) to help understand marketing’s impact on business outcomes

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (SQL, R, Python) for data manipulation and modeling in big data environments

  • Expert in the evolution of the digital marketing ecosystem with ability to spearhead solutions to battle signal loss and improve marketing measurement

  • Ability to build strong partnerships at all levels. Expert in data storytelling, developing roadmaps, and executing with the overarching vision in mind

Additional Responsibilities

  • Apply quantitative and incorporate qualitative insights to inform and influence marketing strategy

  • Develop meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights

  • Build/maintain data infrastructure (data pipelines, aggregated data sets, reports, dashboards) to monitor the performance of marketing

  • Develop hypotheses and comprehensive measurement plans to design and execute experiments

  • Build models that identify levers for maximizing ROI (multi-touch attribution, MMM)

  • Conduct in-depth customer journey analytics and provide recommendations to optimize customer experience

  • Recommend solutions for different client needs and challenges as it pertains to media, marketing, or key measurement questions

Additional Qualifications

  • B.A. or B.S. degree with a quantitative focus in Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or equivalent training. Advanced degree preferred

  • 5 years experience delivering actionable analytics in a complex, fast-paced environment. Proficiency in querying and manipulating complex raw datasets for analysis using SQL, Python, or R, exposure to ETL

  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)

  • Experience with statistical analysis (e.g., hypothesis testing, probability, prevalence measurement, regressions, experimentation logic and biases, data modeling techniques, time series analysis)

  • Experience with reporting systems, data pipeline architecture and data modeling

  • Understanding of online advertising and familiarity with branding and performance advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques

  • Experience explaining technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to varied audiences and experience translating business objectives into actionable analyses

  • Knowledge and experience with marketing measurement capabilities – content tagging, DMPs, CDPs, Attribution, MMM
