Our Boston office is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to our growing office. We work on several unique projects that require customized engineering solutions like the World Trade Center, Northeastern EXP, Boston-Logan Airport, and Yales Peabody Museum of National History. Youd be joining our multi-disciplinary design teams that support our vision of Shaping a Better World by designing new sustainable solutions to tackle our clients toughest problems.
Mechanical engineering from conceptual design through construction administration
Participate in mechanical design for projects such as Commercial, Academic, Hospitals, and Laboratories
Coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure projects are delivered within budget and schedule
Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
Participating in local Professional Associations
Understanding trends and standard methodologies in the markets in which we work
Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
4 or more years of professional experience designing and/or construction oversite of building HVAC systems, including airside and hydronic system components
Experience with 3D BIM such as Revit MEP
Engineering analysis and energy modeling experience including whole building energy analysis, façade thermal analysis, and airflow modeling
Experience with load analysis software for calculations
The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work, and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
LEED Accreditation or WELL Certification
