Job Description:

The Medical Content Development Specialist will be responsible for supporting client engagements related to medical content development. This role requires a deep understanding of medical information and content creation, including exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. The position is focused on delivering high-quality medical content for a large pharmaceutical client. This is a fully remote contract position, offering flexibility while requiring attendance at scheduled meetings with both internal teams and clients.

responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write medical and scientific content for Medical Affairs, Medical Information, and Medical Communications.

  • SRLs (Standard Response Letters)

  • Create various medical content formats, including but not limited to:

  • Scientific Response Documents (SRDs)

  • Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) documents

  • Slide decks

  • Cover letters

  • Abstracts, posters, education, and training materials

  • Manage the client document development process from material gathering to finalizing content.

  • Facilitate document review meetings with medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) teams.

  • Work collaboratively to ensure content goes through the proper review cycles.

  • Represent professionally during client-facing engagements.

qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Education: PharmD or PhD (mandatory).

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in medical content development or medical information.

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (PowerPoint experience is highly desirable).

  • Strong work ethic with high availability and excellent communication skills.

  • Ability to handle client-facing tasks effectively, representing the company with professionalism.
