Are you an organizer with a serious attention to detail that is passionate about high quality output?
If so, we are looking for you to join our team! The Portfolio Operations Manager owns the end delivery of the training portfolio releases and works across the group to deliver new content through the release process to the learning management system. You are responsible for the schedule, the quality gates, and release gates to ensure the content meets all standards. In this role, you are a strong user advocate who believes in upholding the customer experience by only making available high quality materials and protecting the MuleSoft training and certification brand.
What you’ll achieve:
Complete Salesforce and MuleSoft onboarding programs
Become familiar with MuleSoft’s existing training and certification portfolio and roadmap
Become an expert on the creation of learning components in our learning management system
Review and participate in our existing portfolio release processes
Own the release management lifecycle (which includes scheduling, coordinating, and rollout) of all portfolio updates/releases
Handle internal release communications to stakeholders
Ensure readiness of materials to be released including proper QA and sign off by stakeholders
Manage the content editing process
Perform the non-technical QA of all materials and ensure technical QA is completed
Ensure consistency across different types of releases
Drive the development of standards (for slides, templates, file structure, and so on) and ensure their consistent implementation across the entire portfolio
Forward-plan the release windows and cycles across the portfolio
Be responsible for deploying releases to the LMS, including creating necessary learning components, structures, and templates as necessary
Be responsible for publishing and updating course info on the website, data sheets, and other collateral
Work with stakeholders to design and implement enablement plans for releases as needed for various roles on the team (instructors, operations, advisors, etc)
Manage content localization
Produce and maintain release dashboards
Provide clear and regular status on the state of releases and risks
Measure and report release metrics
Review and liaise with legal for content copyright and legal conditions
Continually identify areas of improvement and implement changes to the release process
Ramp on our portfolio development tools and processes and identify opportunities for improvements
What you’ll need to be successful:
Experience administering content on one or more learning management systems
Excellent project management and organization skills with ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects on time
Advanced knowledge of project management lifecycle and formal training in project management practices preferred
Basic HTML skills
Outstanding attention to detail and a meticulous, thorough nature
An obsession with high quality output that takes pride in delivering such to our customers
A love of lists and processes
Creative and innovative with a desire to continually improve processes
Independent self-starter with proven time management and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment
Strong team player with ability to successfully collaborate with geographically distributed teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Language fluency — strong English required

People management experience and skills
Experience with Edubrite
Experience with ASCIDocs
Software development experience using Maven and GitHub
