IQVIA Oncology Hybrid/Remote Sales Specialist - Northeast - 3179385 in Boston, Massachusetts
This is an exciting opportunity to join IQVIA as an Oncology Hybrid Sales Specialists working closely with Johnson and Johnson client partners resource teams to advance the proper care and use of the available Lung Oncology Portfolio. Territory size and scope of coverage can vary based on the needs of the geographic responsibilities.
The Oncology Hybrid Sales Specialist will utilize a multifaceted approach to communicate with key accounts including outbound calls to enhance product knowledge and use with key customers, inbound calls to aid in the client resource allocation to meet the needs of key offices, educate via Zoom, and or live face to face within the lung cancer key stakeholder community to promote the proper use of the oncology portfolio. The Hybrid Sales Specialist will have responsibilities in a variety of Sales, Customer Service, and administrative functions. In addition, the Hybrid Sales Specialist will serve as the key conduit for resource allocation and utilization within their given territory. In this role, you will convey complex clinical, diagnostics and access information to customers and key stakeholders so that all appropriate patients can benefit from therapy. You must be able to utilize strong interpersonal skills to establish yourself as a trusted partner. Through probing, define the patient’s unmet needs and align on solutions, compliantly and within the company framework that exceeds customer expectations. This position works closely with cross functional peers, in a collaborative environment, to ensure that the company suite of services is made available as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited school required
3 years sales experience in pharma/biotech/device required
2 years Remote/Inside sales experience preferred
Oncology sales experience preferred
Self-motivated with track record of sales success in prior roles i.e. sales rankings, awards & achievements
Superior communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work from home, including appropriate office environment
Demonstrated technical aptitude and computer skills essential
High level of learning agility in supporting multiple brands
Proven track record of exceeding sales objectives
Proven ability to communicate complex clinical message with customers
Prior experience working and collaborating in an account team environment
Knowledge of the reimbursement and fulfillment pathway for specialty products
Proven ability to examine business environment, interpret territory analytics and team insights to assess business opportunities and drive sales results
Strong account management and superior selling skills focused on providing a high level of customer service
Opportunistic, driven, and proven ability to find ways to win in ambiguous environment.
Additional Requirements:
Strong and effective presentation and communication skills across multiple channels (phone, virtual engagement, and in person platforms)
Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
Strong planning and prioritization skills
Demonstrated analytical skills and business acumen. (Conduct business analysis, actively prospect for new business within the geography, align with sales and marketing strategies, develop account plans with Regional / District Managers and internal partners.)
Strong cross-functional teamwork skills
Up to 50% travel required.
Successful experience working teaching Institutions, major hospitals, large oncology clinics, groups, and or accounts.
Request, organize and attend relevant oncology conferences which may occur on weekends.
Appropriately utilize all company approved marketing tools and resources, including digital presentations, use selling skills framework to advance in the selling cycle (i.e., another appointment, in-service, patient identification, etc.)
Develop customer specific pre- and post-call plans that include objectives, probes, and supporting approved materials.
Ability to cover open territories in person and or virtually for an extended period of time.

The potential base pay range for this role is $90,000 - $127,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
