Robert Half Operations Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are in search of an Operations Manager to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is central to our team's function, focusing on the management of finances, payroll, and administrative tasks. The Operations Manager will also assist in development and communications as needed. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee timely approval of staff time and execution of biweekly payroll using QuickBooks.

• Regularly assess finances and correspond transactions in QuickBooks Online.

• Supervise bill payments and generate invoices when necessary, and perform follow-up to reconcile accounts.

• Interface with the team's accountant to discuss finances and grants received.

• Deliver administrative and HR support to the team.

• Procure office supplies as requested by the team.

• Aid in development and communication tasks as required.

• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as needed. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years' experience in an Operations Manager role or similar

• Proven expertise in Finance, Payroll, Quickbooks Online, Billing, and Invoice

• Strong understanding of operational processes and financial metrics

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other management software

• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic planning skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field is preferred

• Solid understanding of business functions including HR, Finance, and Marketing

• Demonstrated ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity

• Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands

• Strong ability to delegate responsibilities and provide leadership and training to key personnel.
