Operator Partner Supply Manager

Location: Boston US (Office Based 3-5 days per week)

The OPSM is responsible for building and enhancing our national network of operator partners (Shuttle Operators / Motorcoach Operators / Limo Operators) with a view to providing best in class service across Zeelo operations. The role will report into and work closely with the Director of Operations (US) in building long-term and mutually beneficial relationships with operators, defining the Operator Partner bidding, selection and commercial agreements and processes.

Role responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate new operator partners for our business assessing the suitability, based on quality, compliance and commercial position.

  • Working with the Director of Operations, US to define the Operator Partner supply approach strategy aligned to Zeelo's Go to Market plan in existing and new regions.

  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with suppliers inline with Zeelo and Zeelo client requirements in accordance to net/gross company targets.

  • Manage the operator partner selection process from acquisition to delivery including working with the Operations and Product teams to define our approach, bid processes and portals with limitless national scale in mind.

  • Support the development of and implement strategies to improve net revenue figures against targets and improve efficiency across our operations within the Operations team.

  • Own the documentation and tracking of operational pricing data to build a national level rate card with Operator Partners.

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments, networking at industry events, implementing and managing engagement activities, events and incentives.

  • Develop a deep understanding of US transportation industry regulations on both a state and federal level.

  • Lead commercial discussions with operators for new business sales opportunities, including the establishment of agreed rate cards, client facing proposals and commercial contracts.

  • Work with Zeelo sales team to provide voice of the supply.

  • Scope out, launch and manage our Zeelo preferred operator program.

Specialist knowledge, skills & experience

  • Experience in a BD, supply acquisition or procurement role, focused on customers or operators

  • Work with wider teams to ensure there is an aligned company wide approach to operator partner supply acquisition.

  • Strong industry knowledge or similar experience related to logistics / transportation / freight (even better if tech disruptors in these sectors).

  • Experienced in negotiating contracts and commercial agreements in the delivery of contracts.

  • Experienced in dealing with suppliers to build long term relationships.

  • Ability to work across functions and build internal relationships.
