Logitech Packaging Design Engineer Intern in Boston, Massachusetts
We are seeking a creative, highly motivated Structural Packaging Design Engineer Intern to join Logitech’s Packaging group. The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail-oriented self-starter and driven to create high-quality work. Through this internship, the intern will work cross-functionally with the structural packaging design team as well as various departments; learn structural packaging systems and determine the sustainability impact of those systems; and be exposed to designing packaging for various Logitech products.

Different packaging materials and architectures and help you understand what contributes to the sustainability impact of packaging
Exposure to Logi’s packaging design process from start to finish; learn the key stakeholders in packaging decision making as well as criteria which guide a packaging project
Understanding challenges which manifest during a packaging project and how to brainstorm and problem-solve those issues
Real world experience using packaging software such as ArtiosCAD, Solidworks or Tops and conducting packaging sustainability and Lifecycle analysis (LCAs).
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
Strong 2d/3d skills
A passion for sustainability
Ability to work within brand guidelines and follow direction, as well as push boundaries
This position will be required to present to an audience and feel comfortable speaking in public
Design and present new packaging concepts
Prepare detailed presentations
Research and evaluate competitor packaging
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software and Google cloud products (Gmail, Slides, Drive)
3D software or Keyshot a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have a passion for packaging design
Outstanding multitasking abilities
Compelling portfolio of graphic design work
- 2+ years in an undergraduate program or recently graduated in a related field
