Robert Half Paralegal in Boston, Massachusetts

Description We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Paralegal to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. The role involves managing a variety of legal tasks, such as case management, litigation, and using e-Discovery tools. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our team, supporting attorneys with their responsibilities, and ensuring efficient and smooth legal procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize LexisNexis for legal research and case management

• Prepare and analyze legal documents, including briefs and complaints

• Handle all aspects of litigation processes, including defense and e-Discovery

• Utilize case management software to organize and keep track of all case details

• Provide comprehensive support during trial, including preparing and organizing exhibits

• Coordinate with various stakeholders, ensuring smooth litigation processes

• Use Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Excel for document management and data analysis

• Handle complaints professionally and efficiently

• Provide litigation support to attorneys, helping to prepare for trials and hearings

• Utilize Relativity for e-Discovery, document review, and data management. Requirements • Ability to handle legal briefings and complaints in a detail oriented manner • Knowledge of litigation processes and experience in litigation paralegal duties • Proficiency in the use of LexisNexis for legal research and case preparation • Experience with Relativity software is required • Experience in litigation defense, with a focus on providing support to attorneys • Demonstrated skills in complaint handling, with a focus on resolving disputes efficiently • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and team communication • Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changes in legal regulations and procedures • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, law, or a related field preferred.
