Audacy Partnership Manager in New York, New York

Overview

The Partnership Manager reports directly to the Senior Director of Business Development as a part of the Digital Business Operations unit, which enables our digital teams to meet/exceed revenue growth and profitability goals. This professional will be responsible for renewing and growing both existing and new AmperWave digital audio partnerships. They will also be tasked with building relationships with existing and potential customers and partners. Additional responsibilities will include analyzing data and providing insights to inform the company's business development strategy. They will also assist the Senior Director in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by conducting market research, identify potential customers and partners, and develop strategies to win new business. This position will also be responsible for scheduling partner meetings, creating sales materials and nurturing leads.

Internally, they will work closely with other Audacy departments to ensure that partnerships are aligned with the company's business goals and that they are leveraged to the fullest extent. Partnership management will include AmperWave hosting clients, Audacy’s affiliate partnerships and our emerging off-platform supply 3rd party partners. These will be predominantly other radio groups and content providers.

Audacy is a scaled, multi-platform audio content and entertainment company. AmperWave is Audacy’s owned and operated streaming and ad serving platform. With a current client base across large radio groups and emerging podcasters, the AmperWave SaaS platform enables audio content producers a seamless, scalable distribution platform and monetization capabilities.

Partnership Renewal & Development Management

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders at small to mid-sized partnerships

  • Host and facilitate relevant product demonstrations and drive requirement gathering with clients

  • Report and maintain timely and thorough notes pertaining to opportunities via CRM

  • Drive new business and renewal process depending on partner needs, which may include consideration for either cash or barter business.

  • This person will need to effectively communicate and work across multiple teams to accomplish their goals.

Market Development

  • Collaborate and help develop AmperWave value proposition with product and marketing

  • Assist with sales collateral needs with marketing as needed

  • Participate in ongoing trade shows, industry meetings, and other external events to represent AmperWave

  • Attend and participate in client reviews with Client Success Managers, communicating with clients and providing in-person and phone support, if required

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 2+ years working in enterprise software and technology-related services

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

  • Experience and understanding of SaaS processes and technology within the media/broadcast industry

  • Understanding of enterprise software sales cycles and associated strategies and tactics

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated, professional, confident, flexible, and results-driven

  • Proactive and energetic approach in working with clients and internal stakeholders

  • Hubspot CRM experience a plus

  • Consumer of Streaming Audio and Podcasts a plus

  • Profficiet in Google workspace applications (sheets, docs, slides, etc)

  • Effective time management & multi-tasking skills

Work Environment

  • This position is optimally based in either New York, Philadelphia or Boston.

  • This position may requires periodic travel for sales or management meetings

Additional Information

The anticipated starting salary range for New York, Philly, or Boston based individuals expressing interest in this position is $65,000-$75,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
