Providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages and with all types of conditions
Eliciting histories, performing examinations, and performing/interpreting diagnostic studies
Performing therapeutic procedures, instruct and counsel patients about their diagnosis
Facilitating the appropriate referral of patients, consistent with his or her supervising physician’s scope of expertise and responsibility and delegated to him/her by the supervising physician
Performing and/or assist with intravenous sedations in the office based setting
Providing all aspects of pre-operative and post-operative care, as well as first or second assisting during surgery
Working 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, primarily in the Boston and Waltham locations with the possibility of travel to other satellite locations.
To qualify, you must have:
A Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
A current MA state License as a Physician Assistant
One year of PA experience in the clinical and operating room settings and well as a strong interest in and understanding of the Plastic and Oral Surgery disciplines, preferred
Strong analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledge
Strong communication skills to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and medicated fair solutions, and well-developed writing skills
