_Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC)__is seeking a__Placement Data Entry Specialist/Office Support Specialist I in the Division of Housing Stabilization!___ _ _ _AGENCY MISSION:_ The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is charged with creating more homes in Massachusetts and lowering housing costs for residents. Formerly known as the Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), EOHLC works with municipalities, local housing authorities, non-profit organizations, and development partners to provide affordable housing options, financial assistance, and other support to Massachusetts communities. _ _ _OVERVIEW OF ROLE:_ The Placement Data Entry Specialist is responsible for all accurate input of data into computer systems and databases for the Placement Unit. The Placement Data Entry Specialist plays a critical role in the operational support of intake and placement activities by maintaining and updating various databases and tracking systems. The incumbent must demonstrate strong attention to detail, is proficient with data entry tasks, and possesses the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. This role requires excellent organizational skills and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. _ _ _DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):_ _ _ 1. *Data Entry/New Placements:* · Complete all data entry for new placements on a daily basis. · Assign families to EA beds and complete the Placement/Transfer Touchpoint for each new family on a daily basis. 2. *Transfers:* · Complete all data entry for transfers. · Refer families to placement and assign to EA beds. · Complete Placement/Transfer Touchpoint for each family transferred on a daily basis. 3. _Databases:_ · Maintain and regularly update placement-related databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. · Support teams by entering data, generating reports, and addressing any data discrepancies or issues. · Collaborate with internal stakeholders to verify data, reconcile differences, and maintain a consistent and reliable data environment. 4._Tracking Systems:_ · Monitor and manage referral and occupancy tracking systems to assist in the coordination of housing placements. _ _ _PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:_ 1. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks. 2. Ability to communicate effectively with providers, and all levels of staff with tact and diplomacy. 3. Demonstrated collaboration skills. 4. Excellent organizational and time management skills. 5. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. 6. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment. 7. Commitment to producing high quality products. _COMMENTS:___ Please upload resume and cover letter. This position would be expected to follow a hybrid model of reporting to work that combines in-office workdays and work from home days, as needed. Salary placement is determined by years of experience and education directly related to the position and the Human Resources Division’s Recruiting Guidelines. In the case of a promotional opportunity, the salary provisions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement will apply to placement within the appropriate salary range. Education, licensure and certifications will be verified in accordance with the Human Resources Division’s Hiring Guidelines.Education and license/certification information provided by the selected candidate(s) is subject to the Massachusetts Public Records Law and may be published on the Commonwealth’s website. Office Support Specialist I: Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience in administrative work experience or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below: Substitutions: I. An Associate's or higher degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience. II. An Associate's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience. Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
