Oracle Principal Cloud AMS Analyst - RETAIL (REMOTE) in Boston, Massachusetts

Job Description

The Application Management Services Team provides Cloud-based Application, Infrastructure, and Platform services to allow the Oracle Retail Global Industry Unit to deliver Cloud offerings for our products within the Retail vertical market.

Responsibilities

What you have done:

  • Provided evening and weekend support on a rotation .

  • Install, configure, and maintain Retail application AMS environments

  • Upgrade and patch application technology stacks

  • Debug issues related to application configuration and technology stacks

  • Build and maintain ad hoc efficiency and automation scripts

  • Triage hardware, operating system, networking, and related issues

  • Assist development and QA teams in identifying and solving application and performance issues

  • Publish and maintain documentation on web pages related to services offered

  • Operate independently and as part of a team including remote team members and multiple collaborators

  • Provide customer support during their implementation cycle, launch, and post-go-live.

  • Ready to participate in non-business hours and weekend on-call support for customers.

  • Collaborate with internal, external, and the global cloud support team.

What you will do:

  • Willing and able to work evenings and weekends on a monthly rotation basis .

  • Take on retail applications including planning, maintenance, batch support, and outages.

  • Experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes and SaaS solutions

  • Implementation of Enterprise Applications using WebLogic Server 10.x/12.x, LDAP, Deployment tools, Monitoring tools on UNIX and Windows

  • Proficient in handling all the aspects of Installation, Configuration, Clustering, Deploying Applications, Load Balancing, Performance Tuning WebLogic Server & SOA issues in production, and testing environment

  • Proficient in Weblogic Application Server Administration including installing, configuring, migrating, load balancing, deploying applications, performance tuning, and upgrading.

  • Shown experience in the administration of Weblogic servers on Linux or Windows

  • Solid grasp of various Web Logic sub-systems like clustering, JDBC, JMS, SSL, RMI/EJB objects, etc

  • Oracle database experience including SQL, PL/SQL, and performance analysis and remediation

  • Experience with Python or Perl, Shell scripting, and Chef

US: Hiring Range: from $39.95 to $85.67 per hour; from $83,100 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
