About the Job
The Red Hat AI Business Unit is looking for a technical Product Manager for a hybrid role in our Raleigh, NC or Boston, MA office. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and is willing to become a subject matter expert in AI platforms, tools, and technology. In this role, you will help create, prioritize and drive product strategy and execution of the OpenShift AI product(s). You will be primarily working with customers through the Red Hat field teams and Red Hat engineering for product requirements and implementation. You will also be working with other stakeholders such as marketing, field enablement, customer success and support to drive the success of OpenShift AI. Experience with Generative AI, MLOps, and other AI platform capabilities is strongly preferred.
What You'll Do
Collect and document input from users, customers, community members, partners and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and develop strategy and roadmap for our offerings
Research competitive solutions, both commercial and do-it-yourself alternatives, documenting their relative strengths and weaknesses to develop competitive positioning and collect input for new releases
Prioritize, document and track requirements and user stories for new releases of our offerings
Create and manage product roadmaps
Guide major enhancements of our offerings by working cross-functionally with core teams across our Engineering team and the upstream open source community
Work with stakeholders to manage releases and updates of our offerings and bring new AI solutions to market
Work with our Sales teams to respond to customer inquiries; deliver customer presentations and demos and support the overall sales process
Support sales and marketing activities, including creating presentations, blogs, demos and other technical collateral for our offerings
Review and provide feedback on the documentation for our offerings
Speak and share expertise at user groups and conferences in various locations throughout the U.S. and worldwide
Participate in technical aspects of go-to-market engagements like live streams, roadshows, workshops, webinars, demos of offerings and solutions, industry and partner events and sales enablement/training
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline. Master’s degree is a plus.
Product management experience in the software industry, preferably with some experience working with AI tools and/or platforms
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver impactful products
Ability to think strategically and influence stakeholders to deliver against key priorities
Capacity to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in cross-functional environment with a distributed remote and global workforce
Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities while working in a highly complex environment
Understanding of technical challenges to drive well-informed decisions with the development team
Understanding of and experience with open source projects

The salary range for this position is $125,760.00 - $207,530.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
