Key job responsibilities

• Identify, create, and execute on mechanisms to improve roadmap prioritization, transparency, efficiency, communication, collaboration, and customer satisfaction for 6+ software teams and product and science partners

• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance customer and business needs against technical constraints across Director and VP level organizations

• Drive communication with Director and VP level stakeholders and leaders

• Create a culture of innovation, encouraging teams to find new and better ways to identify and solve problems.

• Build consensus and define architectural strategies across Director and VP level organizations

• Coach and mentor other TPMs to foster a supportive culture of collaboration and delivery to high standards

• Get support and mentorship from principal and senior leadership

Basic Qualifications

• 7+ years of technical product or program management experience

• 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

• 5+ years of software development experience

• Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience

• Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
