U.S. Bank Process Design Consultant - Consumer Products (100% remote) in Boston, Massachusetts


The Process Improvement Operations Analyst is responsible for leading continuous process improvement initiatives across the Consumer Banking Sales & Support organization. It is part of a Process Excellence Initiative which includes identifying and analyzing processes for opportunities and developing/implementing strategies to drive efficiency gains and leverage automation.


  • Assess the needs of the business and process requirements for improved operational efficiencies and automation potential.

  • Measure and assess the capabilities of current processes; analyze the frequency of problems or causes.

  • Develop analysis to determine root causes of variation, defects, or poor performance.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and gain support for system and process changes from key stakeholders to ensure timely and complete implementation.

  • Employ Lean Six Sigma methodologies and analytics to accomplish business objectives and drive change.

  • Develop control plans and monitor the performance of the business post-implementation; apply statistical process controls to monitor process behavior.

  • Create business requirements documentation to completely outline the scope of the project and purpose.



  • 8 years of related experience.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of assigned business function and technical skills. Recognized as an expert in a project area.

  • Proven experience effectively managing and influencing change within a matrix organization.

  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and influence business decisions.

  • Strong management, leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Well-developed knowledge of assigned business line or functional area.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.


  • Master's degree in related field.
