Guardian Life Processing & Policyholder Services Support Associate III in Boston, Massachusetts

Position Summary

Under minimal guidance, ensure the accuracy and integrity of the claim repricing files and repricing programs and ensure timely and accurate resolution of claim situations and disputes. This person will continually strive to provide superior products and customer service and will proactively look at new and different ways of approaching work.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Prepare, create, verify and distribute dental network data to each leasing client as indicated in the Leasing client agreement.

  • Run the Network Leasing repricing program daily. Investigate and correct errors.

  • Run daily network automations to refresh DentalGuard Preferred Select Network data, including retrieving alternate payees, administrative dentists and fee data according to workflows.

  • Investigate and accurately resolve DentalGuard Preferred Select Network claim disputes, complaints and inquiries usually received via email or by phone.

  • Assist in the completion of Requests for Proposals, Network Claim Pricing Proposals for potential

leasing clients.

  • Participate in projects as needed related to our DentalGuard Preferred and DentalGuard Preferred Select dentists.

Reporting Relationships

This position reports to the Network Leasing Team Leader, who reports to the Manager of Dental Standards.

Functional Skills

  • In depth knowledge of Dental Network Administration (DNA) and Claimfacts systems, PPO dentist data and fee schedules.

  • Strong knowledge of Guardian dental networks and DentalGuard Preferred dentist agreements and exhibits, dental procedure codes and descriptions.

  • Works effectively with all contacts, including Leasing Clients, associates from across the Group Dental Product areas.

  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions independently

  • Adapts to changing business priorities and environments

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of dental claim processing and/or PPO DentalGuard Preferred provider experience

  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Must be detail oriented and have strong analytical skills

Travel

5% Travel as needed.

Salary Range

$40,260.00 - $60,390.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
